Return policy

At Les Becs d’Autan, each mouthpiece is made to order according to the customer’s specifications, including the selected tip opening. As such, the mouthpieces we make are not subject to the statutory right of withdrawal.
As a courtesy, Les Becs d’Autan nevertheless accepts returns within 10 days of delivery, provided that the mouthpiece is returned in a condition suitable for resale.
You may return the mouthpiece for an exchange or refund, subject to the conditions below.

1. Mouthpiece Trial Conditions

We ask that you try the mouthpiece with care :

A mouthpiece patch must be used at all times;
Avoid any bite marks or other marks on the mouthpiece;
Do not scratch or damage any of the surfaces;
Keep all accessories and the original packaging in perfect condition.

The mouthpiece must be returned in a condition suitable for resale.

The mouthpiece may only be used to the extent necessary to evaluate its characteristics and performance. Extended use, including during rehearsals or live performances, is considered use beyond what is necessary for evaluation.

2. Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
The customer is responsible for properly packaging the product and for its safe transportation until it is received by Les Becs d’Autan.
Any package lost or damaged during return shipping remains the customer’s responsibility.
We strongly recommend using a tracked, signature-required shipping service with insurance.

3. Product Inspection

Upon receipt, each returned mouthpiece undergoes a thorough individual inspection before any refund or exchange is offered.

We check in particular:

its overall condition (no modifications);
the condition of the table and facing;
the absence of bite marks or scratches;
the condition of the plating and finish;
the condition of the tip;
that the original packaging is present and in perfect condition.

4. Return Conditions and Restrictions

Conditions:

To request a return, you must contact us by email at contact@lesbecsdautan.com within 10 days of receiving your mouthpiece and request a return authorization.
We will work with you to determine whether an exchange or refund is the best solution, after inspecting your mouthpiece.
To qualify for a refund or exchange, your mouthpiece must be returned in the same condition as when received. It must also be returned with the complete original packaging in perfect condition. Any return in a different condition will incur a minimum $50 repair or restoration fee, which will be deducted from the refund.
Refunds cover the purchase price of the product, excluding the original shipping costs.
Refunds are issued to the same payment method used for the original purchase.
For an exchange, we cover the shipping costs for the replacement mouthpiece.

Restrictions:

For special orders, custom-made mouthpieces, or personalized tip openings, we reserve the right to refuse any return or exchange.
An exchange will only be offered for a mouthpiece returned in perfect condition and requiring no repair or restoration.
If a mouthpiece is returned without following the instructions above, no refund will be issued, and the mouthpiece will only be returned to the customer once the required return shipping costs have been received.
The return policy may be used only once per mouthpiece and for a maximum of one mouthpiece per order.
Repeated or excessive returns may be considered an abuse of the return policy and may result in restrictions on future orders and return requests.
This return policy does not apply to refacing, modifications, restoration, or repair services performed on a customer-owned mouthpiece.

Any request concerning a service performed on a customer-owned mouthpiece must be submitted by email to contact@lesbecsdautan.com, so that we can review the situation and determine an appropriate solution on a case-by-case basis.

5. Defective Product or Order Fulfillment Error

This Return Policy in no way limits the 2-Year “Les Becs d’Autan” Warranty.
If a product has a conformity or manufacturing defect, or if an error was made when preparing your order, please contact us at contact@lesbecsdautan.com.
After inspection, Les Becs d’Autan will cover any necessary repairs.
